Our title, " Forgiveness " represents remembering forgotten memories and the character who is having those problems is Wyatt. The other text I have on there is the Actors or characters names and maybe have a critique saying , " Illusive, Exciting, NerveWrecking " , from made up Rolling Stone. Kerning is a set of tools on Photoshop that will allow you to make your title stand out on the Movie poster. Kerning has many abilities such as the outer glow which will integrate the title from the poster and a drop shadow that is color adjustable which is also a major stand out quality.
The layer effects and the filters really made the title stand out from just blank white space but I feel like a little editing must be done to make it stand out from dark background because that's what I'm trying to shoot for on this Movie Poster.

Movie Poster Promo
In our movie poster, our main characters are Wyatt's parents, Liz and Henry, Wyatt's friends, Jessie and Andrew, Wyatt's enemy, Preston and Wyatt himself. Im planning on designing my poster by having Wyatt in his bed having a bad dream, and in his dream his friends are being hurt by preston, then his parents are trying to wake up Wyatt but he can't wake up.

Proactive or Procrastination
Am I a Proactive or a Procrastinator? I believe that I am both types of people but mostly Proactive because if I come across a difficult situation, I plan it out, I plot every route and road to go down and then I find the smartest way to go down that road. I believe that I'm less a Procrastinator because only in times of really needing help, I postpone whats ever Im doing a stop my self from possibly messing up even more than I already have.
I can pretty much see what I am going to do with a particular amount of time and what my rate of productivity is, for example, making a poster on recycling would take about 2.5 to 3 days. If I could do that with 3 days of free time and no distraction, I'd get it done in about 1.5 days which is a big affect of productivity.
Now, about my work habits, I would change any distractions and I'd find a place that is quiet, and calm to work better, faster, and harder. Some of my other habits would be playing games so in the future I would separate my phone and I pod from myself. I also have a habit of reading something then getting distracted and restarted even though I've done so much.

My Visual Poem
FuR VisualPoem from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.
My Visual Poem is about the Ocean Life and what its like if you live that life everyday, and these clips of the ocean can pretty much represent the cause of action. Some of these clips mostly have waves washing in , from my point of view, those waves seem to be trying to pull me into this type of life, they've gladly succeeded.
My Visual Poems' special effects affected the whole meaning because most of my affects have a "open up" or a "look into" feeling in them. In that case it perfectly fits this projects main idea because the whole purpose is to look into the ocean and see what kind of life lies beneath it.
I feel that my Visual Poem could have been improved by better footage and less camera movement. I should've started earlier on this assignment and should've put more thought into it.

Finished News Story
P1T6 Hurricane Iniki from Kapaa Middle School MEDIA on Vimeo.
Our finished news story is all about the past and present effects of Hurricane Iniki. Me and my team, Leleaka Anakalea, Noa Harrison, Seth Kostelecky and Lilio Masi would like to thank all of those who helped us make this Report possible. Special Thanks to Mr. Sanderl for supplying us with the cameras and technology we used, We also thank all interviewees, Blake Anakalea, Tracy Fu, Sheleah Masi, Mahealani Bryan, Ili Anakalea, Leilani Weber.
As we finished our final, I grew to be kinda proud of it. But the results of the video wasn't quite what I expected, we had some goodies and some badies. I feel that we could've done much, much more with our project if we would've committed to it more.

Lessons Learned
In our project, we have a lot of interesting parts. The most exciting part is not only getting to work and use a camera, but to actually participate in editing the video. We all got to at least edit a part, some of us more than others.
Our teams roadblocks sometimes would be the schedule. One of us would try and check out a camera when all the others are busy or just simply don't want to go with the one checking out the camera. Also, if our interviewee says that one day an on-camera interview would be fine, but on the day of the interview, our interviewee might say, " Oh I'm sorry, I can't make it for your guys' interview".
A very important part of the project is to make sure that the camera is actually rolling, making sure that it level, making sure there's good audio and that the mic is hidden as much as possible, and that the camera is focused as possible. A tip to people with interviewee's with collared shirt, those shirt are great for mic clips, if interviewee has a normal T-shirt, than ask the interviewee to clip the mic under their shirt.

The Experiment
Hiki No Behind the Scenes
My Hiki No group, Seth Kostelecky, Lilio Masi, Leleaka Anakalea and Noa Harrison are doing a news story , a story that effects everyone, on the 2014 Hurricane Season. So we plan to get at least 3 interviews and some B-Roll sequences to complete and make a quality final cut. Our progress report is that we got about one third of our project done, the interviews, all we need now is our B-Rolls, Voice Overs, and our Final Cut.
Usually when the camera is rolling, we'd try our best to get the best Rule of Thirds Shot, the best Audio, and we'd try our best to keep the camera as still and level as possible. But, When the camera's aren't rolling, we would do some rehearsals, planning, audio testing, setting up the tri-pod and the, finding good areas for B-Roll, editing videos, and cooperate as a team to schedule to check out cameras.
We all have our ups and downs, we have agreements and disagreements, But when we come to a disagreement we all argue at first then the agreeing parts comes into play. When we all come to an agreement we all have great ideas so as a team, we'd plan out how we will accomplish those ideas and we execute those particular plans.

Back To School!
Over the summer I’ve had a lot of favorite moments but my most favorite kind of moments is spending the day at the beach for Paddling, Birthday and Parties.
The biggest challenge I’ve had is just to get used to the 8th grade level, because after 7th grade, there is no 8th grade preparations, also right after 7th grade is summer so it's even more difficult.
Last Year, I had a bad habit of turning assignments in late. So this year, I'm gonna try and get all assignments turned in on time.
